ADDNOISE IN THE CITY
Following its tenth anniversary, Athens Digital Arts Festival presents the new project “AddNoise”, a creative and cultural meeting point between artists and audience.
Through a programme of talks, workshops and screenings, #AddNoise raises questions about the reconfiguration of public space in the light of recent technological developments. The public will have the opportunity to participate in workshops using digital and analogue technologies in order to create participatory creative activities related to the city, the arcade and the neighbourhood. At the same time, there will be access to an analogue and digital library through the Athens Digital Arts Festival archive and through books related to New Media and Digital Arts.
These events will act as a stimulus for a continuous debate with members of the community aiming to explore issues related to public space and familiarise with artistic activities that utilise technological means.
During the assigned time period, Athens Digital Arts Festival will organise creative workshops with digital and analogue technologies (mapping projection, prototypes, sound technologies, etc.), video art, animation and documentary screenings and talks.

Το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ψηφιακών Τεχνών και Νέων Μέσων της Ελλάδας, Athens Digital Arts Festival, συνεχίζοντας τη δεκαετή πορεία του συστήνει στο κοινό το νέο project AddNoise, ένα χώρο συνάντησης καλλιτεχνών και κοινού.
Μέσα από ομιλίες, εργαστήρια και προβολές, το #AddNoise θέτει ερωτήματα σχετικά με τη διαμόρφωση του δημόσιου χώρου μέσα από το πρίσμα των τεχνολογικών εξελίξεων. Το κοινό θα έχει τη δυνατότητα να συμμετέχει σε εργαστήρια αξιοποιώντας ψηφιακές και αναλογικές τεχνολογίες με στόχο τη δημιουργία συμμετοχικών καλλιτεχνικών δράσεων που θα σχετίζονται με την πόλη, τη στοά και τη γειτονιά. Παράλληλα, το κοινό θα έχει πρόσβαση σε αναλογική και ψηφιακή βιβλιοθήκη μέσω του αρχείου του Athens Digital Arts Festival και βιβλίων για τα Νέα Μέσα και τις Ψηφιακές Τέχνες.
Οι δράσεις αυτές θα αποτελούν το ερέθισμα για μια διαρκή συζήτηση με τα υπόλοιπα μέλη της κοινότητας στοχεύοντας στην διερεύνηση θεμάτων σε σχέση με το δημόσιο χώρο καθώς και στην εξοικείωση με καλλιτεχνικές πρακτικές που αξιοποιούν τεχνολογικά μέσα.
Ανταλλακτικά εργαστήρια: Δημιουργικά εργαστήρια με ψηφιακές και αναλογικές τεχνολογίες (mapping projection, prototypes, sound technologies, κ.ά.). Προβoλές video art και animation από το αρχείο του Athens Digital Arts Festival, προβολές ντοκυμαντέρ και ομιλίες.
